Is your kitchen IKEA Faktum?

Faktum was IKEA’s previous kitchen cabinet system. Use these clues before placing an order.

1. Check the age

Faktum kitchens were sold before IKEA introduced Metod. An older IKEA kitchen is a first indication.

2. Measure the cabinet

Cabinet and front dimensions differ from Metod. Measure the cabinet itself, not only the existing front.

3. Inspect the hinges

The drilling pattern and hinge position help confirm whether your cabinets belong to the Faktum system.

Flat fronts, without decorative profiles.

Firmax deliberately chooses smooth, flat panels. This gives an older Faktum kitchen a calm, clean appearance that works across different interiors.

A DELIBERATELY CLEAN LOOK

You decide which handle to use and where to place it. Mark the holes with the IKEA FIXA drill template and drill them during fitting. Handles can also be ordered in the Firmax webshop.

Most Faktum orders are between €2,000 and €4,000, depending on the number of fronts, selected finish and additional panels or plinths.
